  • Structural Engineer:
    This position requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering from an accredited 4-year college or university. M.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering is preferred. A minimum of 4-8 years experience in the field of transportation related structures is required. The candidate must have the ability to obtain the Professional and Structural Engineering Registration within 1 year. Current Professional and Structural Engineering licensure is preferred. Must be fluent with computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with MicroStation, STAAD.Pro and MERLIN-DASH is preferred. Responsible for the design and detailing of transportation structures including highway and railroad bridges, retaining walls and box culverts under the supervision of the Structural Engineering Department Head. Essential duties include the performance of structural inspections, and the preparation of structural calculations, technical reports, contract plans and specifications, and construction cost estimates.
