Fostering Community

Civiltech not only prides itself on the fact that we have the resources to successfully serve our clients, but we also believe in directing resources to positively impact the communities we serve to make them better places to live. As a company, Civiltech has participated in a number of company-sponsored volunteer activities such as:

  • Adopt-A-Highway in Lake County
  •  After School Matters
  • Alignment Rockford
  • Career Days at area schools
  • Chicago Scholars
  • City Year Chicago
  •  Dash for Detection: 5K Run and Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research
  •  Engineers Without Borders
  •  Feed My Starving Children
  •  Fenger High School mentoring
  •  National Engineers Week
  •  National Survey Day
  • Northern Illinois Food Bank
  • Take Your Child to Work Day

Being involved in the communities in which we live and work not only positively impacts those we serve, but also boosts employee morale and contributes to professional fulfillment. In an effort to recognize this, Civiltech has instituted a Volunteer Time Off policy which provides a number of hours per year to employees volunteering in community service projects that are important to them aside from the ones Civiltech chooses to participate in as a company. Civiltech and our employees value these initiatives that support and give back to our local communities, and we welcome new opportunities. We believe these actions can make a powerful statement about what we stand for as a company.
