The design of every major highway improvement must strike a balance between the needs of the human and natural environments. Before an improvement can be designed, the project must navigate a complex decision-making and approval process devised to satisfy environmental laws, meet jurisdictional agency requirements, and achieve both a public and political consensus. Completing this process in a timely and cost effective manner requires a consultant with diverse specialized expertise, extensive experience navigating through the process and, above all, an ability to communicate effectively with both the public and the many agency representatives that participate in the approval process.
Civiltech´s Environmental Services Departments has a record of achievement in implementing difficult and complex projects. We bring exceptional transportation engineering and public involvement credentials to any project. We are particularly skilled in developing context sensitive solutions that balance safety and operational needs with stakeholder concerns.
