Mike has been providing civil and transportation design services since 1995. His experience includes the design of roadways, streetscapes, on-street bicycle facilities, multi-use paths and trails, and other recreational facilities. He specializes in delivering transportation projects within highly urbanized areas where a Complete Streets approach must be taken to ensure the safety of all modes of transportation. Additionally, his projects promote commercial activity and provide environmental benefits. Through his ongoing relationship with the Chicago Department of Transportation and Chicago Park District, Mike has developed design solutions that include road diets, pedestrian bumpouts, rain gardens, and permeable pavers.
