Kreutzer Road Extension

Village of Huntley

This project involves the construction of a new roadway on a new alignment. Kreutzer Road will be extended west from its current terminus at IL Route 47 and connect to the existing north-south portion of Kreuzter Road approximately 1/2-mile to the west. This will result in an important connection in the roadway network to provide for east-west travel in the Village of Huntley but also allow for improved access to adjacent developments.

This project included evaluating the environmental impacts that a new roadway would result in on the natural environment. These studies included noise and air quality analyses as well as extensive wetland, floodplain and water resource studies.
