Civiltech maintains a staff of highly experienced engineers, including nationally certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineers (PTOE). Complementing our expertise is a full array of the latest hardware and software tools needed to collect and analyze traffic data, as well as to simulate the operational benefits of proposed improvements.

Highways and expressways are the backbone of any transportation system, with high design speeds and safe, efficient movement of vehicles and goods a necessity. Critical elements that need to be analyzed as part of the design of transportation improvements include constructibility and maintenance of traffic during construction operations. Civiltech is able to overcome this barrier by employing both Design and Construction departments, in order to plan and design safe and efficient maintenance of traffic plans. Our designers hold "in-house" meetings with our experienced construction personnel to discuss certain aspects of the project in order to establish well thought out and feasible maintenance of traffic plans, and to review the constructability of project elements.

Civiltech is also experienced in all facets of traffic signal and signal system design, including surveillance and communications systems. Our traffic engineers also design the signal control and timing (SCAT) programs, which are the "intelligence" that the hardware installations are designed to implement.
