Director of Traffic, Environmental and Design Studies

Employed in private consulting engineering since 1991, Mary possesses expertise in comprehensive impact studies, traffic engineering and environmental/location-design studies. She has directed environmental/design studies for projects ranging from intersection improvements to major roadway corridors. Mary has had extensive training in the National Environmental Policy Act procedures and methodologies and is pre-qualified by IDOT at the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) level. She is able to create effective stakeholder involvement programs as part of the context sensitive design process through her thorough understanding of the transportation planning and implementation process combined with her communication skills.
