Older communities today struggle with maintaining their infrastructure on reduced budgets. Public Works Directors and Village Engineers must evaluate deteriorating infrastructure, then make decisions on how much money to invest to rehabilitate the aged infrastructure versus replacing them. Because of tight municipal budgets, it is critical that cost-benefit analyses are performed to achieve the best expenditures of municipal funds. In contrast, new and developing communities are also seeking advice on the best expenditures of their funds to meet growing infrastructure demands.

Civiltech's "bread and butter" business is serving municipalities in their transportation capital improvement and maintenance programs. We assist municipalities in making critical decisions concerning the rehabilitation or replacement of municipal infrastructure. Civiltech is also experienced in implementing municipal improvements that utilize either Village only funds, Motor Fuel Tax funds or Federal funds such as STP, ITEP or CMAQ.
